Honda's partnership with The Ohio State University is a model of how industry-academia cooperation can generate great value for students, the university's research goals, the state of Ohio, Honda and its associates. Business Facilities magazine, a leading publication for corporate executives, ranked the Honda-OSU Partnership among the top five industry-university partnerships in the U.S. A key aspect of this partnership is an endowment generated through the operation of the Transportation Research Center, Inc. (TRC). To date, the endowment has grown to more than $50 million, and it generates approximately $2.3 million per year for The Ohio State University College of Engineering.
