
The United Way is committed to meeting the immediate health and human services needs of community members. United Way also focuses on long-term needs by developing comprehensive responses to projected problems and issues in the community.
Honda of America and its associates in Ohio have supported local United Way agencies since 1982, the year that the company began producing automobiles in Ohio. Since its inception, Honda's annual workplace campaign has provided more than $30 million to the United Way through Honda associate contributions and company matching funds.
In 2010, Honda of America's nearly $1.5 million in support extended to United Way organizations in 62 of Ohio's 88 counties.
