Honda's Troy, Ohio, distribution facility was established in 1982 to provide service parts to Honda dealers in the region. With an expansion in 2007, it blossomed into the giant regional American Honda Midwest Consolidation Center. The operation replenishes parts and materials for nine other Honda distribution centers throughout the United States.
The expansion reflected Honda's growing sales in the United States. Parts and components for cars, trucks, motorcycles and power equipment – from Honda's plants, as well as those of supplier companies – are consolidated here.
