Honda’s Newest U.S. Product Goes On Line: The All-New, Turbocharged Acura RDX Premium SUV
Honda of America Mfg. continues to showcase its manufacturing flexibility with the introduction of the all-new Acura RDX. Virtually new from the ground up, the RDX features an all-new platform, the first turbo engine built in North America by Honda, plus an all-new 4-wheel-drive system.
This event will give you an inside look at the manufacturing challenges that go with turning Honda’s oldest North American auto plant into a facility that now builds cars and light trucks together – at the rate of 1,800 a day.
The event will offer insight into the development and design of Honda’s first North American turbocharged production engine.
