Rebuilding Together

On the first weekend in May, a group of over 50 Honda associates assembled bright and early to make repairs on two houses in Whitehall. Through the Honda Hero program, and in partnership with Rebuilding Together of Central Ohio (RTCO), associates painted rooms, laid flooring, refinished bathrooms, installed cabinets and reinforced stairs for houses on Dimson Drive.

The mission of Rebuilding Together of Central Ohio is to bring volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of those in need. This is the 14thyear that Honda has participated in the National Rebuilding Day event, which is put together by the RTCO.

“It was great to work together with everyone in the true Honda spirit,” said Leonard Coleman, an engineering coordinator in Purchasing at the Marysville Auto Plant. “My wife and I enjoyed supporting the Rebuilding Together project and helping to make a difference in the community.”

The homeowners were thrilled with the results of the event and were very appreciative of all the volunteers.
